What is a hotel voucher?

A hotel voucher is a document a tour operator or travel agency sends to a hotel to confirm a room booking on behalf of a guest. It contains the guest name, dates, room type, number of rooms, board basis, and the operator's reference number. The hotel uses it to hold the room and to bill the operator (not the guest directly).

Do I need to install software to generate vouchers?

No. JourneyBench runs in your browser on desktop or mobile. Log in, open any confirmed booking, click "Generate voucher", and the PDF is ready to send in seconds.

Can I customise the voucher template with my branding?

Yes. Vouchers use your uploaded logo, brand color, agency reference number, and contact details from your Workspace Settings. On the Pro plan there is no JourneyBench watermark.

What if a hotel changes its reservations email address?

Update the hotel entry in your library once, and every future voucher for that hotel uses the new address automatically. No search-and-replace across old files.

Can I send the voucher directly, or only download the PDF?

Both. You can copy the voucher as a PDF and attach it to your own email, or use the built-in "Email hotel" action which opens a pre-filled email from your default mail client with the PDF attached.

Does the guest see the voucher?

By default the voucher is intended for the hotel, not the guest. The guest sees the guest-facing tour quotation. If you want to share the hotel voucher with the guest as a confirmation, you can download the PDF and forward it separately.
